Buyers and Sellers Deserve Respect

I went to a technology conference today and left early because every speaker was talking about how to get and handle LEADS.  A lead is someone that may have clicked on your listing, or an ad you placed on Facebook or other social media platforms.

One of speakers said that we should be contacting a ‘lead’ in this fashion:

  • Contact the lead within 30 seconds, then
  • 3 times a day for the first 3 days, then
  • 3 times a week for the first 3 weeks, then
  • 3 times a month for the first three months

WHAT?!@#! That would make me so annoyed.

Here is my philosophy.  I don’t consider someone who needs help buying or selling a home a ‘lead’ or a number in my database. I view that person as a a human being and I strive to make a CONNECTION to see how I can help YOU achieve your goals.

When you own your own business, you have to do some advertising and marketing to grow and thrive, but harassment has never been part of my business plan.  I strive to provide superior service, even if you just have a question.  And the support you receive from me does not end at the closing table, I am always going to be a resource you can turn to well after the transaction is complete.
